Person specificationEducation/Qualification Essential criteria - Registered Nurse or AHP with current NMC/HCPC registration
- Level 7 Advanced Clinical Assessment Module
- Minor Illness Experience and/or minor injury L6/7
Desirable criteria - Independent Prescriber (or on pathway to complete)
Experience Essential criteria - Experience in autonomous working and diagnostics
- Substantial experience in patient care
- Experience in working autonomously in an emergency or other unscheduled care environment or working autonomously within a GP surgery.
- Experience of clinical supervision
- Experience of implementing evidence-based care
Desirable criteria - Experience of team / service/ staff management.
- Experience of conducting research projects and audit
- Experience of change management and implementing change in practice
Skills & Knowledge Essential criteria - Evidence of comprehensive range of clinical skills and expertise relevant to the role
- Able to prioritise own workload and delegate
- Able to deal with conflict and manage appropriately
- Proactive in own learning and development of others
- Specialist knowledge in clinical reasoning, history taking, physical examination, diagnostic skills and prescribing/treatment
- Clinical knowledge across a range of acute conditions.
Desirable criteria - Able to lead and motivate a team and implement change
