As an EHCP Assistant Practitioner, you will provide essential administrative and casework support within the Statutory SEND Service. Your role will ensure that statutory processes are followed efficiently, helping to create a brighter future for children and young people with SEND.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain clear, accurate, and organised case records in line with council policies and data protection laws.
• Support the Statutory SEND Service in meeting service targets and statutory obligations.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries regarding the statutory Education, Health, and Care (EHC) processes.
• Gather, process, and update case information in relevant databases, assisting in monitoring and tracking progress.
• Promote effective teamwork and contribute to service improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent relevant experience.
• A strong working knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
