About the role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Course Coordinator to support high-quality administration for our Undergraduate Medicine programmes. You will be the main administrative contact for your allocated courses and will manage key processes including timetabling, student allocations, attendance monitoring and curriculum updates.

You will support academic governance by preparing documents, servicing meetings and tracking actions, and you will help keep course records and systems accurate. As a key point of contact for students and academic staff, you will ensure clear communication and maintain up-to-date course information.

About the team

You will join a friendly and collaborative administration team within the School of Medicine's Education Centre. We work closely with academic staff, clinical partners and professional services colleagues to deliver a high-quality experience for our medical students.

Teamwork, flexibility and knowledge-sharing are central to how we work, and you will play an active role in supporting colleagues

About you

You will be an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be confident working independently, using your initiative to manage tasks, resolve non- standard queries and maintain high standards of service. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships across academic and professional groups. If you enjoy varied work, teamwork, problem-solving and supporting students and staff, we would be delighted to receive your application.

What we offer

• A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment

• A hybrid working arrangement with the blended approach of home and office working each week

• Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days (or pro rata) plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year.

• We are committed to staff development through the provision of training, continued support, and career progression opportunities

• You will have access to a range of benefits and rewards, including fitness and health facilities, staff discounts, travel schemes and many more. To find out more about what we can offer you, follow the link to our benefits website.
