The salary will include TLR2 and a SEND allowance.
A minimum of 5 years post qualification teaching experience (M5 and above) , with at least two years working with SEND.

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Early Years Specialist Advisory Teacher. This full-time position focuses on supporting children with severe and complex needs from birth to seven years and carries TLR2 responsibilities and a SEND Allowance. You will work in various settings, including Early Years environments and mainstream schools, providing essential advice, training, and direct teaching support.

As an Early Years Specialist Advisory Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

• Advising and Training: Offer expert guidance and training to staff and families to enhance educational practices.
• Direct Teaching: Deliver individual and group teaching sessions tailored to the needs of children with SEND.
• Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments to identify children's needs and develop targeted intervention plans.
• Collaboration: Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to create a supportive network for children.
• Modelling Best Practices: Demonstrate and advise on effective teaching strategies and inclusive practices in various settings.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years post-qualification teaching experience, with at least 2 years working with children with a range of SEND.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Expertise in supporting children with SEMH, cognition & learning, and communication & interaction needs.
• A relevant teaching qualification and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
