Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and families? As an Early Help Case Manager, you will be the lead professional responsible for coordinating and managing targeted early help support for children, young people, and families. This rewarding role involves direct work with families, assessments, and developing tailored intervention plans to ensure positive outcomes.

In this vital role, you will:
  • Lead as the primary professional for families needing early help services.
  • Conduct structured assessments and develop intervention plans in line with service guidance.
  • Chair multi-agency Team Around the Family/Child meetings to foster collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including data entry and case notes.
  • Collaborate effectively with professionals across various services.
  • Work directly with families in diverse settings, including their homes.
  • Attend and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A professional qualification at NVQ level 4 or above.
  • Knowledge of child development, family systems, and assessment theories.
  • A full driving licence (unless registered disabled).
  • A minimum of three years' experience working with children, young people, and families.

  • Demonstrates a high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, young people, and families.
  • Can make informed decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets.
  • Is proficient in using information technology, including databases and word processing.
