In this unique role, you will create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning experience that helps students develop driving knowledge, confidence and practical awareness. Through the delivery of simulator sessions, theory test preparation, road safety education and related activities, you will support students to progress into driving lessons, vocational driving opportunities and employment.

You will manage and develop the College's driving simulator provision, providing inductions, safety briefings and ongoing guidance to students and departments using the equipment.

You will also oversee the day-to-day operation of the simulator and associated technologies, ensuring equipment is maintained, software updates are completed and health and safety requirements are met.

Working closely with curriculum teams, Student Services, local driving instructors and external partners, you will help remove barriers to student progression and create opportunities that promote independence, confidence and employability.

The role will also contribute to the future development of the College's theory test centre and support the promotion of driving education opportunities across the College.
