** Background -The Doctoral College at City St George's supports doctoral researchers across six Schools and three campuses. This role will be based at the Clerkenwell campus, supporting two academic Schools and contributing to the delivery of the Doctoral College's strategic and operational objectives.
The Doctoral College provides a supportive and collegiate environment that enables colleagues to thrive and develop in their roles while fostering effective engagement across the wider University.

** Responsibilities -The postholder will act as the primary point of contact for academics and doctoral researchers within the designated Schools. Key responsibilities include managing student records and progression processes; producing regular reports for academic and professional services colleagues; administering application and admissions processes; coordinating viva examinations; servicing School committees; supporting on-campus and off-campus doctoral activities; and processing payments for funded students. ** Person Specification - The successful candidate will have experience in higher education administration, preferably within a doctoral research environment. They will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders and will be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively across teams. They will also demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
With excellent collaborative skills and a commitment to a strong team ethos, the postholder will be expected to contribute actively to the continuing development of doctoral researcher support across the University.
