Job summary

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about handling information accurately and securely?

We are looking for two Disclosure Coordinators to join our Information Governance team and support the delivery of complex disclosure and investigation programmes. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring sensitive patient and corporate information is identified, validated, quality assured and disclosed in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.

Working closely with Information Governance, clinical services, Health Records, Digital teams, Legal Services and other key stakeholders, you will help ensure information is managed with the highest standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.

This vacancy is advertised as a time-limited opportunity is expected to be undertaken on a secondment basis.

Before applying, employees must discuss the opportunity with their current line manager to confirm whether they may be released from their substantive role if successful. Release to undertake a secondment is not an automatic entitlement and must be agreed by all relevant parties: the employee, their current line manager, and the recruiting line manager.

Main duties of the job

What You'll Do
As a Disclosure Coordinator, you will:
  • Identify, collate, validate, and securely disclose patient and corporate records.
  • Analyse information from multiple sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and suitability for disclosure.
  • Maintain detailed audit trails, disclosure logs, and tracking systems.
  • Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams to coordinate timely responses to information requests.
  • Apply specialist knowledge of Information Governance, confidentiality, and records management requirements.
  • Support the continuous improvement of disclosure processes and working practices.
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and care. About You

We are seeking individuals who have:
  • Experience within Information Governance, Health Records, Legal Services, NHS administration, or a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, records management standards, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and electronic record systems.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security and confidentiality.
