Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality & Safety Coordinator to join the Imaging department on a fixed term contract. The postholder will be pivotal in co-ordinating and supporting delivery of the directorate's Quality & Safety portfolio.

The role will include responsibility for co-ordinating and maintaining core documentation, information and reporting, the scheduling and maintenance of meetings, monitoring progress against key targets and be the first point of contact for enquiries related to Quality & Safety at directorate level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining spreadsheets and management of their processes through the system.

The postholder will have broad knowledge and experience and use their reasoning, intellect and judgement to manage their workload, make decisions and proactively deal with issues independently.

The post is based at Hammersmith hospital but may require cross site working to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

  • Providing support, as required, to team members in the preparation of documentation, including investigation reports, action plans, progress tracking and minute taking
  • Inputting data, producing reports as requested and monitoring progress against key targets.
  • Organising and coordinating meetings and events for the Directorate Quality & Safety Team, providing support to shared governance meetings as part of the strategy for the Directorate, Divisional & CQC agenda
  • Electronic diary management for the Quality & Safety Team
  • Working as part of the team to build and sustain effective partnerships and relationships with a range of internal and external groups and organisations, especially the Medical Directors' Office
  • Organising and coordinating meetings and communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders
