DIO Account Lead

Tetra Tech are one of Defence's leading suppliers of professional services and have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our DIO portfolio. We have a large and experienced Defence team, and you will be joining an established governance structure to lead and continue to develop our delivery of Defence projects, winning of new work, and contribute to our wider Defence strategy.

You will have experience of project, programme or portfolio management, and will have experience working in a Defence environment. You will be collaborative and able to build solid and lasting business relationships.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the portfolio with DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation)

• Manage relationships with Senior Defence stakeholders

• Manage the Defence portfolio, and Project Managers

• Identify new business opportunities

• Ensure successful delivery to client requirements, time, cost and quality standards

• Provide advice on the management of projects

• Risk and change management

• Chairing project progress meetings and project reviews

• Responsible for the financial management of the portfolio, including accounting, costing and billing

• Ensuring internal governance is adhered to

• Programming of works and resource management

• Manage and support a team, including people management

• Supporting the team's professional development

• Support other non-defence initiatives when required

About You:

• Experience working in partnership with Defence clients

• Experience leading and developing a portfolio of projects

• Experience working in a sensitive and secure project environment

• Project, programme or portfolio management experience

• Business development experience

• Excellent communicator

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance up to the Developed Vetting level

• Flexibility for travel

• Understanding of construction contracts is desirable
