Job overviewWe are looking for a proactive and organised Digital Records Officer to support the delivery and development of digital records services across the Trust.
The post will work across a varied portfolio including clinical systems support, EPR digitisation, Clinical Change Advisory Group coordination, post and print services, and wider Medical Records service resilience. The role will support the safe, accurate and timely management of patient information, help resolve digital records issues, coordinate actions across teams and contribute to the Trust's transition towards more efficient digital ways of working.
This is a varied role requiring strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across Medical Records, Digital, Clinical Systems, EPR and operational teams.
Main duties of the jobThe Digital Records Officer will support the delivery of digital records and associated operational services across the Trust.
Key duties include:
- Supporting the Clinical Change Advisory Group, including coordination of requests, actions and governance documentation.
- Providing first-line support for Evolve and records-related clinical system issues.
- Supporting EPR digitisation, scanning, migration, data quality and paper-reduction workstreams.
- Coordinating and monitoring post and print services, including supplier performance, service issues and cost improvement opportunities.
- Supporting Medical Records service resilience by maintaining knowledge across key operational areas and providing cover during periods of absence or service pressure.
- Liaising with clinical, operational, digital, IT, Information Governance and supplier teams to resolve issues and support service improvement.
- Monitoring risks, actions and recurring issues, escalating concerns where required.
