Person specificationEducation/Qualification Essential criteria - GDC registration as a dental nurse.
- Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
Experience Essential criteria - Clinical chairside experience.
- Experience in decontamination procedures
Desirable criteria - Experience of working in various dental care settings e.g. hospital, theatres, general practice, domiciliary visits, school screening
- Experience of working with vulnerable patient groups
- Experience in advanced clinical procedures e.g. sedation, endodontics, oral surgery.
Skills & Knowledge Essential criteria - Knowledge of GDC registration requirements including CPD hours
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Understanding Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
- Ability to travel on public transport
Desirable criteria - Empathy for different clients' groups
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Organisational skills
