Relocation Support

We understand that moving to a new force can be a significant decision. To help make the transition easier, eligible transferees may be able to access a relocation package of up to £8,000. The package can contribute towards:

• Removal and moving costs
• Legal and conveyancing fees
• Temporary accommodation
• Travel expenses associated with relocation

To be eligible, officers must relocate and be in post by 31 March 2027.

With police stations located across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, you'll become part of a force serving some of the UK's most diverse communities and landscapes. Posting decisions are made based on organisational need and operational demand. However, we recognise that location is an important consideration and will take your preferences and personal circumstances into account wherever possible.

As a member of Devon & Cornwall Police, you will be part of a force-wide team and may be required to travel throughout the force area in support of operational requirements.
