Data Scientist - AI Model Evaluation - Data Tagging - 3 Month Contract Our client, a global Automotive leader, is moving into the prototype phase of a major AI programme. We are looking for a Data Scientist to join on an initial 3 month contract to help evaluate AI vendors and support the build of a decision tool for physical asset damage. What you will be doing Evaluating AI and computer vision models from multiple vendors against business and safety critical criteriaAssessing and improving data labelling processes for damage classificationReviewing image capture standards and quality to ensure models are trained on reliable dataSupporting prototype development for a repair vs replace decision toolReporting findings clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders What we are looking for Strong experience as a Data ScientistExperience in data labelling, machine learning and AI model evaluationBackground in image capture or computer visionIdeally, experience evaluating classification modelsComfortable working independently and delivering quickly Why this role? You will directly influence which vendor and approach our client takes forward, working on a problem with real world safety implications at a global scale. You will also build experience in AI vendor evaluation, a skill set in short supply as companies move from AI pilots to live deployment.
