Data Analyst - Power BI & ExcelA major government organisation are seeking a data analyst with Operational Performance and Modelling experience to join them on a 3 month remote contract.Qualifications:Minimum of degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject areaKnowledge and Skills:Experience of leading and managing personnel including highly technical analysts involved with resource modelling/forecasting, data and MI reporting and analysis.Experience in analysing, assessing and reporting on processes with a view to making recommendations based on ongoing continuous improvement.Experience of designing training and sharing knowledge on best practice in data analysis, resource forecasting and reporting in an operational environment.Experience of design and implementation of resource modelling, forecasting and scenario modelling in an operational environment.Experience of performance tracking against both assumptions and KPI's in steady state.Planning, co-ordination and organisational skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.Developer level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros/VBA) and advanced skills in manipulate, manage, analyse and present data, including knowledge and experience with Pivot Tables, Excel Functions (such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, COUNTIF, IF, etc).Flexibility in approach, comfortable working in an environment that is fast moving and subject to ongoing change.Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to use own initiative.Experience using Power BI, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft SharePoint an advantage.Data Analyst - Power BI & Excel
