OverviewAre you a confident communicator who enjoys helping people and providing great customer service? We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Travel team in Ipswich. This is a full time, office based role working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers contacting us about travel and accident & health claims, providing a professional and supportive service during what can often be a stressful time. Handling a high volume of telephone and email enquiries, you'll play a key role in gathering information, processing claim form requests and supporting the wider Claims team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge of the insurance industry and can provide a pathway into a Trainee Claims Handler position for individuals looking to progress their career.
How you'll make an impact- Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Gather claim information and ensure details are recorded accurately.
- Process claim form requests and manage customer correspondence.
- Update internal and external systems with claims information.
- Support the wider Claims team with administrative tasks and payment processing.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service in a busy environment.
About you- Confidence communicating with customers over the phone and an excellent telephone manner.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
