Are you a Test Analyst who enjoys solving problems, improving quality and helping deliver successful change?

We're looking for a Test Analyst to join our collaborative Testing team at Burges Salmon. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of testing activities across a range of technology and business change initiatives, ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and ready for successful delivery.

This role would suit someone with solid testing experience who is confident working independently, enjoys partnering with the business and wants to play an active role in shaping how testing is delivered.

What you'll do

As a Test Analyst, you'll plan, coordinate and execute testing activities across projects and business-as-usual change. You'll work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure quality remains at the heart of delivery.

You'll:

• Lead testing activities across a range of projects and system changes.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Carry out functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Manage defects through to resolution using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Support and guide business users through the UAT process.
• Monitor testing progress and communicate risks, issues and outcomes clearly.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards, processes and ways of working.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives including technology transformation projects, new system implementations and wider business change programmes.

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong testing skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience working as a Test Analyst or in a similar software testing role.
• Experience leading testing activity and taking ownership of deliverables.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
• Experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A structured approach to problem solving and quality assurance.
• The confidence to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

An ISTQB Foundation qualification would be beneficial but isn't essential.
