Sir John Nelthorpe School is seeking to appoint a committed and proactive Cover Supervisor to join our successful and supportive team. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident, organised individual who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials in the absence of teaching staff
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their learning and encouraging high expectations
Collaborating with teaching staff and the wider school team to ensure continuity of learning

We are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about working with young people
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
Can manage a classroom effectively and confidently
Is flexible, reliable, and professional
Is keen to develop their skills and potentially explore a route into teaching
