The Opportunity

Due to the continued growth and development of our provision, we are seeking an ambitious and passionate Course Leader to help drive the next stage of our Childcare curriculum. This role will have a particular focus on leading and developing our Level 2 Childcare provision, alongside delivering high-quality teaching on our Level 3 T Level programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an important area of our curriculum, ensuring learners receive an exceptional educational experience and are supported to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress within the Childcare and Early Years sector.

As Course Leader, you will provide effective curriculum leadership for our Level 2 Childcare provision, overseeing its planning, coordination and continued development while maintaining a strong focus on teaching, learning, assessment and learner outcomes. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will teach on our Level 3 T Level provision, delivering engaging and industry-relevant learning that prepares students for their next steps.

You will contribute to curriculum development and innovation, ensuring our provision remains current, engaging and responsive to the needs of learners and the wider Childcare and Early Years sector. Working collaboratively with colleagues, employers and external partners, you will help create meaningful opportunities that support learner progression into further study, higher education and employment.

You will monitor learner performance, attendance, retention and achievement, putting effective strategies in place to support positive outcomes. You will also provide high-quality academic and pastoral support, helping learners overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve their ambitions.

Whether you are an established Course Leader with a proven track record within Childcare and Early Years education, or an experienced teacher looking to take the next step into curriculum leadership, this could be the challenge you have been looking for. You will join a dedicated and highly motivated team that is passionate about providing learners with exceptional educational opportunities.

About You

You will be a passionate and learner-focused education professional with strong experience and knowledge of Childcare and Early Years, together with experience of delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learners to achieve their goals.

You may already be an experienced Course Leader, or an ambitious Childcare teacher looking to progress into your first curriculum leadership role. You will have the confidence and expertise to lead our Level 2 Childcare provision and deliver high-quality teaching on our Level 3 T Level programmes, combining excellent classroom practice with the ability to lead, develop and continually improve curriculum provision.

You will have a strong understanding of the Childcare and Early Years sector and be able to bring your professional knowledge into the classroom, ensuring learning is relevant, engaging and prepares students effectively for their next steps.

Strong communication and organisational skills will enable you to work effectively with colleagues, employers and external partners, while balancing curriculum leadership and teaching responsibilities and maintaining a clear focus on learner success.

Most importantly, you will share our commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities and have a genuine passion for developing the next generation of Childcare and Early Years professionals.
