Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of two NHS organisations, supporting Boards, Committees and Executive teams to ensure effective decision-making and the highest standards of corporate governance. You will play a key role in coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and papers, producing high-quality minutes, tracking actions, and supporting the delivery of key governance programmes and annual statutory processes.

Working closely with Executive Directors, Non-Executive Directors and senior leaders, you will build strong professional relationships and provide expert administrative and governance support across a wide range of complex and high-profile activities.

About us

Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.

For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.
