Job summaryBradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a consultant to join the Palliative Care Team. The post will be based at Marie Curie inpatient unit and REACT (Responsive Emergency Assessment and Community Team) virtual ward.
Please note the interview will be conducted face to face and no offer of virtual interview. Main duties of the jobThe base contract will be for 7.5625 programmed activities.
This post would contribute to a 1:8 category A out of hours on call rota providing specialist advice by telephone (Bradford District and Craven). Payment is a 5% availability supplement. This is intending to move to a 1:11 rota and payment is expected to be a 3% availability supplement in June 2027.

Person Specification Experience Essential - Evidence of completing an approved period of training in Palliative Medicine
Qualifications Essential - MBBS or equivalent medical qualification / MRCP or FRCS of equivalent to specialty (UK) or equivalent / Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) or equivalent / CCT or within 6 months of CCT date / On Specialist Register with GMC and continue to hold a licence to practice
