Job description
Construction Manager | DidcotWe're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join a civil engineering/construction project in Didcot.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll support the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, helping keep works safe, organised and on programme.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing site teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities
- Monitoring programme, quality and H&S
- Resolving site and delivery issues
- Supporting the Project Manager with overall delivery
- Communicating with subcontractors and the wider project team
Ideally, you'll have:
- Strong construction/civils background
- Previous Construction or Site Management experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Tier 1 contractor experience beneficial
