Desirable criteria - Post graduate qualification
Experience Essential criteria - Experience of working under the NHS Dental Service contract, especially in relation to the provision of CDS services
- Experience of working with challenging patients
- Communication and relationship building in dental organisations and the wider health and social care environment
- Understanding of basic health and social care terminology
- Experience of demonstrating successful outcomes within agreed time frames whilst demonstrating a flexible, positive and proactive approach.
Desirable criteria - Experience of clinical audits
Skills & Knowledge Essential criteria - Expertise in exodontia.
- Awareness of the sometimes complex medical history issues of people experiencing homelessness.
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and the associated legislative framework to respond effectively to meet these needs
- Ability to work without direct supervision and to use own initiative.
- Ability to communicate confidently with staff of all levels of seniority
