Are you ready to lead the way in strategic commissioning for adult social care? As a
Commissioning Manager, you will oversee the development and management of services for older adults and unpaid carers in Nottinghamshire. Your role will be pivotal in shaping policies, managing contracts, and ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of care. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and improve outcomes for our community.
In this dynamic role, you will:- Lead the strategic commissioning and policy development for adult social care.
- Manage contracts and partnerships to ensure compliance and quality.
- Conduct joint strategic needs assessments to inform service delivery.
- Drive co-production and preventative approaches to enhance service effectiveness.
- Monitor performance and implement commissioning strategies aligned with community needs.
- Engage with stakeholders, including service users and providers, to foster collaboration.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:- A relevant qualification in Social Work, Health Care, or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of adult social care policies and strategic commissioning principles.
- Strong understanding of market shaping and provider sustainability.
- Proven experience in managing contracts and delivering complex services.
