Be a vital part of our Property Safety and Facilities Management Team! As a
Colliery Tip & Reservoir Safety Officer, you will support the Colliery Tip & Reservoir Safety Manager in overseeing the safe management of our colliery tip and reservoir portfolios. This role is essential in ensuring our assets are managed safely and effectively, contributing to the well-being of our community.
In this exciting role, you will:- Conduct regular inspections of colliery tips and reservoirs.
- Collect and maintain essential statutory records and data.
- Support emergency planning arrangements to ensure readiness.
- Monitor compliance requirements and assist in implementing risk-based safety processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, specialist engineers, and external partners.
- Help maintain robust governance and compliance arrangements.
- Deputise for the Colliery Tip & Reservoir Safety Manager when needed.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:- A relevant qualification in safety management or a related field.
- Experience in conducting inspections and maintaining records.
- Proficiency in using information technology for data management.
- A full driving licence and access to a car (unless disability precludes this).
