KPMG in the Crown Dependencies is looking for a Markets Executive to join the Markets team. The role supports the business to grow key sectors by delivering key administrative and data analytics support to the wider Markets team.
Working closely with the Markets Manager and wider business, the post holder will assist in turning data and insight into action, help deliver effective analysis of key strategies executed by the Markets team and follow specific instruction on how to support key account and sector strategies.
The role will be directly reporting to the Markets Manager.
This role is available in either our Guernsey or Jersey office locations. Please note due to local immigration restrictions we are unable to consider candidates who are not local residents of the Channel Islands. Responsibilities - Assist in completing market and client research and analysis to assist the Markets team in informing sector focus, account planning and campaign targeting (e.g., competitor activity, market sizing, trends, client news and trigger events).
- Support with administrative tasks to further the business development campaigns and strategies
- Support the Markets team in partnering with service line and sector leads to shape account and opportunity plans, ensuring actions, contacts and outcomes are recorded in CRM system.
- Support the Markets team to provide key insights to stakeholders for how we go to Market. This will involve collating research for: identified targets, pursuit opportunities and firm statistics for proposals.
- Assist the Markets team in data collation for key reports to be used in business development meetings.
- Provide support to the Markets team for client service reviews.
- Provide support to the Markets Manager by inputting data into the CRM system and maintaining the data within the system.
- Maintain and develop links with KPMG Islands Group Markets team.
- Promote a business development culture throughout KPMG CDs.
Skills & Experience - Experience working in a financial services environment is preferable.
- Maintains a strong focus on accuracy and quality, while actively seeking opportunities to improve processes, controls & ways of working
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Teams)
- Good attention to detail
- Aptitude and interest for research and data collection.
