Client Relationship Manager (Accounts & Advisory) Location: Cumbria - various locations
Salary: Up to £50,000 + 17% performance-related bonus

The OpportunityWe're working with a reputable and growing firm to recruit a Client Relationship Manager.
This role is ideal for an experienced practice accountant looking to move into a more client-focused, advisory-led position, with the opportunity to build long-term relationships and play a key role in supporting client growth.
The RoleYou'll manage your own portfolio of clients, providing a mix of accounts, reporting, and advisory support.
This is more than just a compliance role, you'll be working closely with clients, understanding their businesses, and providing practical advice to help them improve performance and plan for the future.
Key Responsibilities - Managing a portfolio of owner-managed and family-run business clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Producing management accounts and financial reports
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Providing clear, practical financial advice
- Identifying opportunities to add value and offer additional services
- Supporting clients with business improvement and growth
- Working closely with Directors and senior leadership
- Supporting business development through referrals and networking
About You - Experience within a UK accountancy practice
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Confident managing a client portfolio and building relationships
- Strong background in accounts and client-facing work
- Commercially aware and proactive
- Comfortable using software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with clients
