Hours: 10 hours with the option of Monday to Friday 6.30am - 8.30am or 3.30pm - 5.30pm
Contract: Permanent
Location: Strawberry Fields Primary School, Garforth
Closing Date and Time: Friday 18th September 2026

We are looking to recruit a new member of staff to provide casual cleaning hours as part of our Facilities Team.

The Role:

To provide cleaning under the direction/instruction of the Facilities Assistant to maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the school.

Summary of Duties:

• To clean throughout the school as specified in the schedule of work
• To keep the internal areas free of litter
• To maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials, ensure adequate notice is given to replenish them
• Being aware of complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
• Contributing the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
• Appreciating and supporting the role of other professionals
• Attending relevant meetings as required
• Participating in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
• To abide by all school policies, promoting equal opportunities for all
• To undertake any other duty reasonably assigned by the head teacher or senior leadership team from time to time.
