Help shape brighter futures for children and young peopleat Hockley House.

Hockley House is a pioneering new children'shome in Romsey for young people aged 12-18 with complex emotional, behaviouraland mental health needs. As Hampshire's first residential home to bringtogether social care, healthcare and education in one setting, we're helpingchildren build stability, resilience and brighter futures through intensive,trauma-informed support.

Joining Hockley House as a Support Worker isa rare opportunity to be part of a brand-new service. Working alongsideresidential, health and education professionals, you'll help create a safe,nurturing environment where young people can build confidence, developindependence and achieve positive outcomes.

Main duties of the job

What you'll do

Build positive, trauma-informed relationshipswith children, young people, families and professionals.

Provide high-quality physical, emotional andpractical support in a safe and nurturing environment.

Support children and young people to achievepositive outcomes in education, life skills and personal development.

Contribute to care plans, maintain accuraterecords and prepare reports for families and professional agencies.

Promote safeguarding and wellbeing througheffective risk assessment and safe working practices.

Work collaboratively as part of amulti-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic care and support plans.
