What you'll be doing Are you passionate about food and looking to grow your culinary career in one of the most unique workplaces in the country? Join the Catering Services team at the House of Commons and help deliver exceptional food and service for Members, staff, and visitors across Parliament.
As a Chef de Partie, you'll support senior chefs in preparing, producing, and presenting a range of high-quality dishes. You'll learn new skills, work with fresh seasonal ingredients, and contribute to the smooth running of one of our busy on-site kitchens.
You'll play a key role in maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards while developing your confidence and technique under the guidance of experienced chefs. What we're looking for. You're a motivated and enthusiastic chef with a passion for great food and teamwork. You'll bring:
- Relevant catering qualifications such as City & Guilds 706:1 & 2, NVQ Levels 1-3, or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen, confident in maintaining high standards under pressure.
- A good understanding of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety practices, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
