Education/Qualification

Essential criteria

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Current registration with professional body e.g. NMC and hold a clinical qualification e.g. Registered Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, AHP
• Evidence of continuing professional development

Desirable criteria

• Experience of working in a health care environment, Experience of assessing patient's needs Membership of a Professional body
• Evidence of ability to work with others on the interpretation and implementation of continuing care

Experience

Desirable criteria

• Experience of working in CHC
• Experience of working in a community setting

Skills & Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Ability to manage contentious or sensitive issues
• Ability to manage aggressive/antagonistic behaviour
• Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyse complex patient information and utilise as evidence to draw conclusions
• Conflict resolution
• Supervision and teaching of others
