Supply Desk is currently recruiting School Caretakers, Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, Premises Officers and Maintenance Operatives to work across a range of schools.

Whether you have previous experience working in a school or come from a background in general maintenance, property maintenance, facilities management or a trade, we would love to hear from you!

What Will the Role Involve?

• Opening and closing school premises.
• Ensuring school buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well maintained.
• Carrying out general maintenance, DIY and minor repairs.
• Monitoring heating, lighting and other site facilities.
• Setting up rooms and facilities for school activities and events.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming environment.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the school site.
• Identifying and reporting any health and safety or maintenance issues.

What Are We Looking For?

• A reliable, proactive and hardworking attitude.
• Good practical skills and a hands-on approach.
• Someone who takes pride in their work.
• The ability to work independently and use their initiative.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Previous caretaker, maintenance, facilities or site management experience is desirable but not essential for all positions.
