We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Capital Delivery Manager in our Estates Department, could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
The Estates department looks after all the buildings in South Wales Police. The Capital team sits within Estates and manages all the new builds and refurbishments. These builds can range from a divisional head quarters to a new Custody Suite.
You would be joining a team based at South Wales Police Headquarters in Bridgend, however the post holder would be required to travel to and work from different locations within the force operating area. This is a full-time position, operating 5 days per week, Monday-Friday.The role operates on a hybrid working basis, combining office-based working with the flexibility to work from home, subject to operational requirements
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The role is to deliver a significant capital build programme, which will include the construction of major buildings within the South Wales Police Area.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
For this role the successful candidate would be highly motivated to deliver a fast-paced construction programme of works, have previous experience of managing multiple complex construction projects along with managing a team and the budget.
