Job summaryA development opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong administrative background in the NHS and ideally within a PMO structure or cancer services. The PMO Business Support post holder will work within the PMO as part of a wider dynamic team to provide effective project support to help the West Midlands Cancer Alliance contribute to the delivery of the National Cancer Programme priorities within the Long-Term Plan.
Main duties of the jobKey responsibilities include:
- Maintaining constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the PMO function which includes coordinating and supporting national reporting, internal and external working groups/projects, to provide, information and analytical advice and expertise.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data.
- Presenting information to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Liaising with business support officers to share best practice and ensure business continuity.

The West Midlands Cancer Alliance team is hosted at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust whilst working across the wider West Midlands footprint. Ability to travel across the West Midlands is a key requirement of this job.
