An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Support Officer to join Cheshire West and Chester's Multi Agency Child Protection Team. The role requires strong administrative and minute-taking skills and will support teams across the Ellesmere Port, Chester, and Winsford localities.
As a Business Support Officer within the Multi Agency Child Protection Team, you will play a vital role in supporting child protection processes and ensuring the effective administration of multi-agency meetings. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced administrator with exceptional organisational, communication, and minute-taking skills who is committed to supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative and business support to the Multi Agency Child Protection Team.
- Organising and coordinating meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, booking venues, and collating reports from partner agencies.
- Maintaining and monitoring administration systems and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
- Responding professionally and sensitively to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting service improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business support processes and contributing to reviews, research activities, and data analysis.
- Assisting in the training, development, and support of less experienced Business Support Officers.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure the safeguarding service operates effectively and meets its statutory obligations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a business support or administrative role, excellent minute-taking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while working to strict deadlines.
