This post can be based in any of the 5 local authorities dependant on the successful candidate Working in a varied and dynamic environment, you will need to be highly organised, with a positive, proactive, and flexible approach to managing workloads and meeting competing priorities and tight deadlines. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently, prioritise your own workload, and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality business administration support to ACE Social Workers and Managers, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of administrative services.
You will possess excellent keyboard and IT skills and be highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Strong literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills are essential, together with the ability to analyse information and respond to queries accurately and efficiently.
The role involves regular telephone and email contact when responding to service requests. As such, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, enabling you to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and to ensure that outcomes, actions, and resolutions are recorded clearly, accurately, and professionally using our in-house systems.
