We are looking for a highly organised and motivated
Business Support Assistant to join our Children in Care team on a
12-month fixed-term contract based in
Chester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy environment, providing essential support to colleagues and helping services deliver positive outcomes for children and families. The role offers a varied workload where no two days are the same, requiring excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
As a Business Support Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and business support to Children's Social Care services. You will play a key role in ensuring that business processes run smoothly and efficiently, supporting both operational teams and managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a wide range of administrative support, including scanning, filing and document production.
- Managing enquiries and ensuring prompt, accurate communication with internal and external customers.
- Maintaining and updating databases and records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Producing reports, spreadsheets and documentation to support service delivery and decision-making.
- Supporting meetings, projects and service improvement activities.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality business support is delivered at all times.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information professionally and appropriately.
This role requires a flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
