We are seeking a proactive and highlyorganised Business Support Administrator to join our friendly team based at JohnParkes Unit, at the Annexe, Torbay Hospital. You will have a key role inproviding support across the full range of office and service activities,including the smooth running of the office, reception and front of house dutiesand administrative support to a range of frontline clinicians & managers.
This is a permanent part time positionworking 22.5 hours per week (3 days working 9am-5pm)
Main duties of the jobFront of house &reception support: welcoming visitors, answering calls, takingaccurate messages, and providing a warm, professional first point of contact.
General officeadministration: scanning, filing, updating records, processingmail, generating letters, and keeping systems accurate and up to date.
Customer service:communicating clearly and sensitively with service users, families, colleaguesand external professionals.
Service support:ordering supplies, handling petty cash in line with policy, and reporting gapsor issues to managers.

Person Specification Experience Essential - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Willing to undertake training relevant to the post
- Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 3 months)
Desirable - Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 1 year). Experience within a customer care, healthcare, education or social care setting
- Reception Experience
Knowledge and Skills Essential - Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of colleagues and service users, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as part of a team
