Job Location: Taw View, Barnstaple, this role requires a minimum of 2 days per week on site working (pro rata for part time roles)

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Administrator to join our Business Support Team based in Taw View, Barnstaple providing support to FRONTLINE CHILDREN'S SOCIAL CARE

• Able to use a laptop (TEAMS/Outlook/Calendars/Microsoft Edge/Excel/Word). Basic Training will be provided.
• Positive & enthusiastic attitude towards learning and supporting colleagues.
• Experience of note taking (typed) at meetings.
• Good communication skills & the ability to build good working relationships with team members and wider colleagues.
• Ability to plan workload for the day and be adaptable when Service needs might change.
• Ability to think on your feet and work with colleagues to resolve problems.
• Remain calm and resilient under pressure.
• Being a team player

Key tasks/responsibilities of the role:

• Using a laptop and various internal systems and Microsoft packages to conduct your role.
• Working in an ‘agile' way - some mandatory office-based work alongside flexibility to work remotely some of the time.
• Drafting & responding to emails.
• Note taking at meetings (in person and virtual - typed).
• Uploading/downloading evidence to/from internal systems.
• Inputting data into spreadsheet/word documents.
• Supporting with Subject Access Requests/Police Search requests.
• Ingoing/Outgoing mail.
• Ordering stationary and other office supplies.
• Processing and sending out letters.
• Supporting with historical file archiving

Interviews will be held virtually via TEAMS (you will need access to a laptop/computer with webcam & microphone) on 14 th and 15th October 2026.
