We're working exclusively with a large, well known, well-established organisation with an amazing company culture, looking to appoint a Business Resilience Lead to strengthen and develop its resilience capability. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for ensuring the organisation is prepared to respond effectively to disruption, protect critical operations and maintain continuity across the business.Location: Maidenhead / Manchester Working pattern: Hybrid Salary: Competitive + benefits You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, taking ownership of the resilience framework while continuing to develop the organisation's approach to business continuity, crisis management and recovery planning. The RoleLead and develop the organisation's business resilience strategy and frameworkOwn and continually improve business continuity and recovery planningIdentify critical business activities through Business Impact AssessmentsDevelop, test and enhance incident, crisis and recovery plansRun resilience exercises and use outcomes to drive improvementsEmbed resilience into business change and strategic programmesAssess resilience across people, processes, systems, operations and third partiesWork with senior stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate operational risksMaintain appropriate governance, documentation and resilience standardsBuild greater awareness and ownership of resilience across the organisationWe're looking for someone with strong experience across Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and/or Crisis Management who can take ownership of resilience within a large organisation. This is not a IT role. The ideal candidate has to be able to partner with internal business stakeholders and crate crisis management and continuity plans. Ideally, you'll have:Strong Business Continuity / Business Resilience experienceExperience conducting BIAs and developing recovery strategiesKnowledge of recognised business continuity frameworks and standardsExperience developing and improving resilience programmesStrong crisis management and incident response knowledgeExperience planning and running resilience testing and exercisesThe ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholdersExperience managing multiple resilience priorities and projectsA practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skillsThe Opportunity This is an opportunity to take a high-profile role within a large, established business, with genuine ownership of the resilience agenda.
