Salary: £28.62 - £37.08 per hour
Hours per week: up to 10 hours

Working pattern: Tuesday, Thursday daytime with potential evenings & Friday daytime
Location: Abingdon Campus
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join our expanding team.
As a lecturer, you'll work with learners from Level 1 to Level 3 Beauty Therapy programmes. You will inspire and motivate learners to develop the technical skills, knowledge and professional behaviours required for success within the beauty industry while ensuring an outstanding learning experience and positive student outcomes.
- Support learners in developing their skills, confidence, and employability.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up to date with trends and innovations in the beauty industry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student experience.
Essential Experience: - A qualified Beauty Therapist with substantial industry experience.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- A commitment to inclusive and high-quality education.
- Enthusiasm for developing learners of all backgrounds and abilities.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
