We're looking for a Female Support Worker to join a friendly service in Widnes, supporting two independent women to continue living life their way while achieving new goals and enjoying the things they love.

Both ladies are very independent and like to make their own choices, but they benefit from encouragement and gentle prompting with aspects of daily living. They especially value support workers who are proactive, patient and enthusiastic about helping them explore new opportunities and experiences.
This is a role that focuses on building relationships, promoting independence and helping people live fulfilling lives. Good communication skills are essential, as the people you support enjoy conversation and appreciate colleagues who listen carefully, communicate clearly and take the time to understand them.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting people to maintain their independence and daily routines
- Building positive and meaningful relationships
- Administering medication following training
- Encouraging participation in activities and community opportunities
- Supporting with personal care and appearance where needed
- Providing emotional support, reassurance and encouragement
- Promoting choice, dignity and person-centred support
- Working flexibly as part of a small, supportive team
We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time with people, is a great communicator and genuinely wants to make a positive difference.
You'll be:

- A confident communicator who enjoys conversation
- Proactive and motivated to help people try new experiences
- Respectful of people's choices and independence
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Calm and understanding when communication may take a little longer
Experience in care can be helpful, but it's your values and attitude that matter most. We'll provide all the training and support you need, including medication training and ongoing development opportunities.
