Job summaryAs a Healthcare Assistant, youll work closely with the Outpatients team, and the wider multidisciplinary clinical members, to deliver safe, highquality and evidencebased care. Youll support patients with dignity and kindness whilst helping to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
Everyday will be varied, meaningful and patientfocused, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys teamwork, communication and handson care.
Main duties of the job- Providing compassionate, safe and professional care to patients
- Supporting clinical staff with the delivery and evaluation of patient care plans
- Carrying out basic nursing procedures under appropriate supervision
- Undertaking and recording clinical observations accurately
- Maintaining clear, timely and confidential patient documentation
- Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues
- Contributing to a positive and supportive outpatient team environment
- Following all policies relating to health and safety, infection control and governance
- Reporting incidents, accidents and near misses appropriately

- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant

- Experience taking patient medical histories
