Main duties of the jobWhat You'll Be Doing Prepare and servemeals to patients, staff, and visitors.
Follow recipes,food safety, and hygiene standards.
Support menuplanning and special dietary requirements.
Supervise foodproduction and stock rotation.
Maintain clean,safe, and organised kitchen areas.
Ensure equipment isused safely and reported when faulty.
Deliver meals ontime and to the required standard.
Monitor foodquality, temperatures, and cleaning records.
Assist with stockdeliveries and storage.
Record food wastageand check food expiry dates.
Support theday-to-day running of the catering service.
Train and supportnew team members.
Handle customerfeedback and resolve issues professionally.
Build positiveworking relationships across the Trust.
Comply with Trustpolicies, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Participate intraining, meetings, and personal development activities.

- NVQ level 3

- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
