Are you a motivated Registered Nurse looking for flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to be effective in your local community?

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking Bank Band 5 Community Nurses to join services across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

We welcome applications from Registered General Nurses (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) who have completed their preceptorship and are keen to develop their skills in a supportive community setting.

As a Bank Community Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient-centred care in patients' homes and community settings. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will support people with a range of physical and mental health needs, promoting independence, recovery, and wellbeing through high-quality care.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking compassionate, adaptable nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in community settings.

Essential Requirements

Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

Successful completion of an NMC preceptorship programme.

Evidence of continuing professional development.

Full UK driving licence.

Access to a vehicle insured for business use.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.Strong assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills.

Ability to prioritise workload and respond to changing patient needs.

Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, equality, and diversity.

Flexible approach to working patterns and service needs.

DesirableExperience in community nursing, mental health community services or integrated teams.

Experience of lone working and caseload management.
