Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities:- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and handle general enquiries from patients, staff, and external agencies.
- Book and manage appointments, clinics, and meetings using NHS systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Distribute post and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Support the wider team with tasks such as preparing documents, updating spreadsheets, and maintaining databases.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with NHS policies, procedures, and values.
Skills and Experience:- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, email systems).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
