Band 7 Transfusion Quality Lead in Carlisle UK with an hourly rate of £31.

What you will do:

- Lead the quality management aspects specific to blood transfusion, ensuring compliance with UKAS 15189 (2022) standards.
- Apply your understanding and application of MHRA Blood Safety and Quality Regulations to drive excellence in transfusion practices.
- Work collaboratively with the team to manage SHOT and SABRE reports efficiently.
- Support and guide staff in adhering to Good Practice Guidelines.
- Oversee and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the blood transfusion service.

Requirements:

- HCPC registration is essential.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience at Band 7 or above within the NHS.
- A car driver is preferable, facilitating easy travel across sites.
