What you will do:

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and best practice guidelines.
• Ensure patients receive safe, compassionate, and professional care throughout their imaging journey.
• Assess and evaluate clinical images to ensure diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographers, and multidisciplinary teams to support effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, radiation protection regulations, and quality assurance procedures.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate, sharing knowledge and best practice.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of service delivery and patient experience across multiple sites.

Requirements:

• Current HCPC registration is essential.
• Minimum of two years' experience in mammography.
• Previous NHS experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging techniques, quality standards, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable due to travel requirements between sites.
