If you hold a BBTS Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice or an IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology with Hospital Transfusion Practice and are an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist, this could be the adventure you've been waiting for. A valid driver's licence will be beneficial for this role as some travel may be required.

• Conduct and interpret tests within the Haematology department to provide critical data for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform routine and complex haematology analyses with precision and accuracy.
• Participate actively in quality management processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Liaise effectively with medical and nursing staff to communicate results and provide expert advice on laboratory investigations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advances in haematology and transfusion science.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification:

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
• BBTS Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice or IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology with Hospital Transfusion Practice.
• Previous experience working within a Haematology laboratory.
• Valid driver's licence is beneficial, as some travel may be required.
