Person specificationQualifications Essential criteria - HCPC Registration
- Occupational Therapy Degree
Desirable criteria Experience Essential criteria - Relevant experience of the Occupational Therapy process during Fieldwork Education and Work
- Documenting evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria - Knowledge and experience in inpatient areas such as Discharge to Assess, Frailty, Stroke / Neuro
Skills and knowledge Essential criteria - Basic Knowledge of health legislation and current practice
- Demonstrate an understanding of the OT process
- Demonstrate the use of a problem solving approach
- Basic knowledge of the principles of clinical governance
- Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance
Personal Qualities Essential criteria - Innovative, creative
- Effective written , oral and digital communication skills
Other job requirements Essential criteria - Demonstrates knowledge and practical experiennce of assessing, prescribing and issuing appropriate equipment to meet patient's functional needs
- Knowledge of current manual handling principles and safe moving and handling techniques
Desirable criteria - Current driving licence, business insurance and access to own car for conducting access visits
